Pastor Isaías Martínez

Central America

The journey of Missionary Isaías Martínez is a profound testimony of absolute surrender to the expansion of the Gospel in Central America. His calling began on October 20, 1998, delivering Bibles to the most remote and geographically inaccessible regions. Whether on horseback or carrying heavy crates on his own back across rugged mountains, Isaías has hiked countless miles to listen to and pray with believers living in places where few dare to go.

Since 2005, Isaías has solidified his missionary work by organizing annual medical and dental brigades, alongside his wife and son. These missions are focused primarily in Honduras, involve traveling to more than five countries each year to strengthen God’s work. While he holds professional expertise in Public Health, Marketing, and Web Technology—and serves as a scientific researcher in the health sector—he views these roles not as ends in themselves, but as practical tools. They allow him to better serve his neighbors and steward the resources God places in his hands with excellence.

Driven by the conviction that a worker must correctly handle the Word of Truth, Isaías has dedicated years to the deep study of Scripture. He holds a Master of Arts in Expository Preaching, a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and a Master's in Biblical Ministry. His passion for teaching has led him to serve as a professor of Bible, Greek, and Hebrew at various seminaries. This includes a formative season of service alongside Dr. Noé Acosta at the Latin American Reformed Seminary (SRL). Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate in Theology (Th.D.) with the sole purpose of honoring God and equipping others with greater faithfulness.

Today, his primary focus is the development of a Ministerial Academy dedicated to training leaders and pastors in rural areas of Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. In these regions, where distance and low literacy rates are significant barriers, Missionary Pastor Isaías works tirelessly to provide high-level theological training to those who lack access to basic education.

"My life is about serving God alongside brothers and sisters who, due to their location or educational background, have been sidelined from biblical training. My prayer is that distance will never be an obstacle for a pastor to receive the tools necessary to faithfully preach Christ."
